All too often do we as fans wait to show our appreciation, admiration and love to the stars we have grown up with, been introduced to through Mutual likes and fandom‘s and inspirational celebrities and in most cases out right role models. I say we do something about it and I want to start this Woman’s History month with a woman I know is not just one of my awe inspiring role models but to many many others as well!
8,000 women were recruited by Nichols for NASA... in the 70’s!!! From Whoopi Goldberg to Martin Luther King Jr. the lives that Nichelle Nichols has touched is beyond count! Our dear Miss. Nichols is 88 years old, I have a bit of insider information that she loves to read, so I say we as fans shower her with our written word, let’s tell her now how much we love her, admire her, and how she is influenced our lives for the better.
We have every opportunity, the time, resources and want to show them our love now. Who’s with us? All too often do we as fans wait to show our appreciation & admiration to the celebs we love. I propose a letter writing campaign and for WHM, I’d like to start with Nichelle Nichols. From recruiting 8000 women to join NASA to Whoopi Goldberg, let’s tell her she is loved!
