Virginia Collins | Emperor Georgiou “Star Trek: Discovery”
“I chose to focus this piece on Emperor Georgiou because I feel her character is interesting and the MU has always fascinated me. The duality of self is something I like to explore with my art and portraiture is a passion. Philippa is such a unique person, she doesn't really fit in anywhere and she doesn't always understand what's around her but she makes the best of it and I felt that's relatable to an extent. She is a familiar alien and becomes an alien to herself and her origins. The costuming and design of her character is gorgeously done, I love the power she visibly portrays.”

My name is Virginia and I'm a working artist based out of Montana USA. I've been drawing since I was tiny and still love creating whole heartedly. I've also been a Star Trek fan my whole life, I was raised on it and as an adult I have found comfort and family in and with the series.
